Summer 2011  Olim Fellows Repairing the World One Bunk at a Time

Olim Fellows Repairing the World One Bunk at a Time

Crane Lake Camp is a partner in a distinguished fellowship for 1st and 2nd year counselors called the “Olim Fellowship.” Olim Fellows are a group of staff that receive extra training and education during the off-season attending 3 retreats at various URJ camps.  They commit to work at camp for 2 summers, and in return, they give back to camp in so many ways.  One major way is in the form of Social Action, learning about it and how they can create Social Action projects on camp.

Check out this video of what Social Action has meant to these Olim Fellows, and how Crane Lake Camp has benefited from their efforts and hard work.  Way to go Olim Fellows!

  • What a great blog. I will surely recommend this weblog to my friend. Thanks.

  • Once again, I urge you to clean the comments above. Take action and your blog will be much better

  • The following time I learn a weblog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to learn, however I really thought youd have one thing attention-grabbing to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about one thing that you would repair if you happen to werent too busy searching for attention.

  • I would also love to add that if you do not actually have an insurance policy otherwise you do not take part in any group insurance, you will well gain from seeking assistance from a health agent. Self-employed or people who have medical conditions normally seek the help of one health insurance brokerage. Thanks for your writing.
