As you drive onto camp opening day, after you have checked in, you will see the landscape of camp has further been enhanced by the addition of 6 new camper cabins. All winter long our construction crew has been working hard to make sure that these buildings would be completed on time. Hopefully you have seen the photos we have posted each step of the way. The finishing touches are being prepared now and will be unveiled opening day.

These cabins were made possible by the generous donations of parents, grandparents, alumni, rabbis, cantors, educators, and other concerned Jews who recognize and value the importance of what happens in these cabins and in our camps. It is the lives that are transformed by these spaces rather than the buildings themselves that are vital to the camp experience, and we are blessed to have so many supporters who agree.

If you or anyone you know is interested in being a part of this holy work and helping to ensure camp’s future for the next generation, contact Corey Cutler, Director of Development at ccutler@urj.org or 201 722 0400. Eisner and Crane Lake are taking part in a new matching program courtesy of the Grinspoon Institute for Jewish Philanthropy that will help us reach our goal of building the final 4 cabins.
