2011 Maccabia has finally broken! What an amazing break out it was. At the conclusion of the regular Shabbat Song Session, the conclusion of the video package explaining the Color War Divider directed all of the camp to make their way down to the lake, where a fire sign read “Shabbat Shalom” to everyone. With most of camp thinking it was yet another fakeout, the past generals appeared with lit torches.  They then lead all of camp to the Rec Hall, where after a few motivational speeches, the camp was entertained to an exciting Laser Light Show! The new Generals were finally introduced, and the teams were then divided when Debby finally put the ceremonial axe in the stump.  At long last, Maccabia has begun! Good luck to the White Gladiators and the Blue Beasts. Here are the Generals:
