Catherine A. from Nitzanim bunk Garden View South describes a typical day at CLC.

A typical day at camp? That’s easy. I am going to be describing a normal day at Crane Lake camp, our daily routine.

First we have to wake up (obviously), and go to breakfast (yum!). Then, we clean up the Chadar Ochel (the dining hall) and go to morning T’filah. T’filah at Crane Lake Camp is brief morning service, just about 20 minutes long.

After that, we go back to our bunks for Nikayon (clean up time), and start out morning activities.

Normally, we have three morning activities (example: drama, tennis, soccer). After that, we have Chugim that like our choice activity, for example: the Daily Bubble.

Then we have lunch. After we eat, we say the Birkat Hamazon, our prayer to thank G-d for our food. Then we have a Menucha (rest hour), and sometimes canteen where we get candy. After Menucha we have three more activities and then shower hour.

After that we have dinner where we say the Birkat Hamazon again. Our last activity of the day is evening program.

I’m sad to say that at this time of day after evening program, it is sleepy time!
