Every week Crane Lake Camp introduces a Jewish value of the week for campers and staff to think about in their everyday camp lives. We discuss and teach how the Jewish value of the week relates to many different areas on camp. This week’s Jewish value is bitachon or confidence. We do many things here at CLC that demonstrate bitachon, so we asked campers and counselors how they show confidence at camp.

Jenna R., General Counselor- I show confidence by rocking the fanny pack.

Matt L., General Counselor- I believe it is important to practice what you preach. I think confidence is standing up for what you say. I show confidence by doing what I say I will do.
