This week’s Jewish Value is Manhigut, meaning leadership. Leadership is a common theme seen all around camp. From the Nitzanim campers all the way up to the staff, Manhigut is shown in many different ways. We asked campers and staff members how they show leadership on camp and we would like to share their responses with you.

“I lead new paths for my fellow bunkmates to follow like being the first one to jump in the pool when it’s cold.”- Samantha E., bunk 6

“I make my own decisions and make a positive influence on the Crane Lake community.” – Ari L., bunk 24

“When you’re in Olim you have to set a good example so the younger campers know what to do.” – Maya P., MVW

“I set a good example for younger campers by including others and doing what I’m told to do.”- Chanah H., MVW
