Screen-Shot-2015-07-20-at-5.43.44-PMGreat music, flashing bright lights, free giveaways, top hit songs…what could it be other than Todd Yahney? Last night, Todd Yahney Entertainment came to Crane Lake for yet another amazing dance party. The second you walked into the beit am it felt like something other than camp. It felt like a bar mitzvah party but better. It felt more like a bar mitzvah surrounded by all your best friends singing and dancing with you. Everyone dressed up in neon and tie-dye and danced the night away. The DJ played top hits like “Shake it Off” by Taylor Swift and “Want to Want Me” by Jason Derulo, as the party motivators got everyone moving. Each bunk got the chance to go on stage and show off their dance moves. Todd Yahney gave out hats, headbands, rings, glow sticks, backpacks and of course the notorious t-shirts! The t-shirts said “Dance like no one’s watching, sing like no one’s listening, party like a rockstar”. One thing that made this Todd Yahney experience different from all the rest was the throwback pictures displayed on the large screen. There were photos from 2009 and 2010 Todd Yahney dance parties at Crane Lake. It was great to see counselors in their camper days and upper camp campers in their lower camp days. Todd Yahney was a blast and it was definitely a night to remember.
