Last summer’s Olim campers (OXV) are traveling through Eastern Europe and Israel this summer with NFTY in Israel.  We are lucky to receive Shabbat-o-grams from their group each Shabbat to hear about their adventures!

Crane Lake Camp are ya listening,

It’s OXV that you’re missing…

After hours on a plane and a quick stop with the Swiss,

We arrived in Prague and blew America a kiss.

Prague’s old town square was a beautiful sight,

We had real food for the first time since our flight.

Visits to many synagogues and those beautiful, scenic views,

Connected us to our past and the history of the Jews.

Our “hike” to the castle felt like miles and miles,

And the guards in charge would not crack smiles.

More than 12 hours on a bus, we could not handle any more.

From Prague to Poland, we went OUT THE DOOR!

We arrived in Poland after being shlepped,

It took a while but the 01266 bubble was repped!

The food in the old city of Kraków was great,

It was better than the hotel food that we ate.

Shabbat Shalom!
