Trip Day this year was one for the books! From amusement parks to skyscraper buildings, our campers enjoyed their trip outside of the red gates exploring new and exciting places!

Nitzanim went to Lake Compounce, a theme and water park in Bristol, CT. They splashed in the wave pool and slides and conquered their fears on the rollercoasters! Watch our video to experience the thrills for yourself!

Bonim spent the day at Six Flags! Despite the rain, they made the best of the day by playing games in the rain, turning into superheroes by purchasing capes, and riding Superman, one of the big rollercoasters at Six Flags when the rain finally stopped.

Lower Chaverim went on an overnight trip to Boston! They spent the first day of their trip touring Fenway Park, visiting the penguins at the New England Aquarium and walking through the shops and restaurants at Faneuil Hall. They ended the night with dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe and a hilarious viewing of the murder mystery comedy show, Shear Madness. Before heading back to camp the next day, they explored the Museum of Science, went on a duck tour (Quack! Quack!) and ate dinner in Cambridge.

Upper Chaverim spent Trip Day in New York City! Highlights include visiting the Central Park Zoo, going to Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, and going to the Broadway show School of Rock! They also went on a boat cruise around Manhattan and got to make their own chocolate bars at a chocolate factory!

Olim traveled all the way to Montreal, Canada! They went to Lake Placid, visited Olympic facilities where they were fortunate enough to get some words of wisdom from Olympic athletes themselves, and went jet boating through class five rapids in the Saint Lawrence River. On the way home, they stopped in Vermont at the Ben and Jerry’s factory where many of the campers enjoyed the famous “Vermonster.”
