This summer she will be teaching campers’ new and exciting dances that incorporate different movements and emotions. She hopes to make a positive impact on every camper and staff member’s camp experience through dance and her personal stories.

Adi has lived in Kfar Saba, Israel her entire life. Kafar Saba is about 12 minutes from Tel Aviv. She started dancing at the age of 4 and has continued her passion throughout the years. In the army, she was a commander where she made lifelong connections with people in her unit.

“I feel like I have made a difference in soldiers lives and I hope to make a difference in campers lives too,” said Adi. Unfortunately, she was not given the opportunity to dance while in the army, so she is looking forward to getting back into it at camp. After camp, she plans on traveling until March. When she arrives home from traveling, she will attend University to study either computer programming or programming engineering. She is excited to pursue her life long passion for programming.

This summer, Adi is excited to be apart of the Mishlachat. “After spending four days with the Mishlachat at a seminar in Israel, I immediately felt a part of a family,” she said. She feels it is important to create a strong bond with others in the Mishlachat so together they can teach campers about Israel and the Israeli culture. At the seminar, the Mishlachat discussed the importance of bringing new insights to camp about Judaism and personal identities.

She believes she has many stories that will impact everyone around her. Adi has a special vision for dance this summer at Crane Lake and hopes to see her vision come alive.

“When I arrived at camp, I felt an instant connection to the Crane Lake community by the way people welcomed me with big smiles and open arms. Although I was new to this whole summer camp experience, I immediately felt like I belonged here. I felt like I was a part of one big, happy family,” Adi remarked.

Over the next two months, Adi aspires to make a positive influence on every camper’s life and Jewish identity.
